15th Installation Ceremony
The 15th Installation Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Kakarvitta took place on July 4, 2024, at the Hotel Mechi Crown, Mechinagar, Jhapa. The event was meticulously organized and followed a detailed schedule. The Master of Ceremony, Rtn. Sujan Pradhan, commenced by calling the dignitaries to the dais, including the Rotary President for 2024-25, Rtn. Dr. Anandraj Khanal, and the Chief Guest, District Governor of RID 3292, Rtn. Rajendra Man Sherchan and his spouse Rtn. Sarojani Sherchan., Council of Governors PDG Rtn. Basudev Golyan (Plan Lead TRF and Regional Coordinator), PDG Rtn. Sanjay Giri (District Coordinator), PDG Rtn. Jitendra Bahadur Rajbhandary (District Learning Facilitator), PDG Rtn. Santosh Prasad Rijal (Assistant Regional Coordinator), Assistant Governor Rtn. Binod Basnet among others. Guests of honor were recognized, including notable members from the Koshi Province Assembly Rtn. Gopal Tamang. Following the formal introductions, the President Elect of the Rotary Club of Kakarvitta, Rtn. Uday Kumar Shrestha, delivered the welcome address. The program officially began with the inauguration of the theme banner, followed by the national anthem and the Rotary song. The core of the event was the Rotary Installation Ceremony, where the outgoing president, Rtn. Er. Rudra Mainalee, handed over the charter certificate, president collar, gavel, and gong to the incoming president, Rtn. Dr. Anandraj Khanal, who also took an oath administered by the Chief Guest. Dr. Khanal then presented his acceptance speech and outlined future plans, followed by the introduction and oath-taking of the new board members. A reflection on the past year by the Immediate Past President and a symbolic exchange of flower bouquets highlighted the continuity and camaraderie within the club. The honor program featured the National Training Commissioner of Nepal Scout, Bhuwan Subba which was conducted by Rtn. Bhagirath Rai. The Master of Ceremony, Rtn. Er. Jeewan Bhattarai, commenced the keynote addresses, delivered by several distinguished guests, emphasizing the Rotary theme and district initiatives. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of mementos, a toast proposal, and a vote of thanks by Vice President Rtn. Krishna Raj Poudel.
