The Rotary Club of Kakarvitta held its regular meeting on 6th August 2023 with guest speaker Dr. Birendra Kumar Yadav, Oncologist of Purbanchal Cancer Hospital. The meeting was chaired by President Rtn. Er. Rudra Mainalee.
The meeting began with a welcome speech by President Elect Rtn. Dr. Anandraj Khanal. President Nominee Rtn. Udaya Kumar Shrestha introduced the guest speaker.
Dr. Yadav then gave a presentation on the topic of cancer. He discussed the different types of cancer, the causes of cancer, and the treatment options available. He also spoke about the importance of early detection and prevention.
After the presentation, there was a question-and-answer session. The members had the opportunity to ask Dr. Yadav about their own personal experiences with cancer or the experiences of their loved ones.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice President Rtn. Krishnaraj Poudel. He thanked the guest speaker for his time and the members for their participation.
