On 8th July 2016, Rotary Club of Kakarvitta & Rotacat Club of Kakarvitta jointly organized Tree Plantation Program at the Mechi Ganga Bishramalaya. Chef Guest, District Governor Elect Rtn. Sanjay Giri joined us. He appreciated the deeds of the club. We planted 100 Paulownia Tree on the program.

On the 11th June 2016, Rotary Club of Kakarvitta organized the Club Officers Training Seminar (COTS) for the Rotaract Club of Kakarvitta. We had Rtr. Ashish Shrestha (ADRR), Rtr. Birat Acharya (ZRR), Rtr. Lalit Jha (Rotary Six Area Focus Chair) & Rtr. Sajal Pokhrel (President Elect) as resource persons. On the training, resource persons trained about the fundamental of Rotaract, Bonding between Rotary & Rotaract, about the club meetings & its procedures. They also demonstrate how meetings are conducted. A session of about 3 hours was held in the friendly & fun environment playing some informative slides, videos & games. Rtn. Sujan Pradhan (Secretary, RC Kakarvitta) presented the slide presentation about the History, Activities & the present state of Rotary Club of Kakarvitta. Pema Tamang & Kabita Maharjan gave the feedback on behalf of the participant that the training was really fruitful & motivating. They enjoyed every moment of it & thanked the resource persons for enlightening them. On behalf of the resource persons Rtr. Sajal Pokhrel said that it was a privilege to have such wonderful & energetic trainee. On the Plenary Session, Rtn. Radeeka Gurung (President Elect) welcomed all with her welcome speech, where Rtn. Dilip Subedi (IPP) kept his Vote of Thanks. Rtn. Raju Maharjan (President) kept the closing Statement on behalf of Rotary Club of Kakarvitta. Rtn. Sujan Pradhan conducted the program. On the 20th May 2016, Rotary Club of Kakarvitta organized a Pre-Induction Training as the initiation of forming a Rotaract Club of Kakarvitta. On the training 58 youths participated. As resource persons we had Rtn. Santosh Rijal (GSR & District Training Committee Chair, 2015-16), Rtr. Sarad Joshi (Charter President of Rotaract Club of Birtamode Midtown), Rtr. Birodh Subedi (Charter Secretary of Rotaract Club of Birtamode Midtown). Resource Persons enlightening about the History, Present State & the functionality of Rotaract Club. We also had a Video Session where we presented some clips about the Rotaract. Rtn. Santosh Rijal highlighted about the bonding between the Rotary & the Rotaract. After that we had a questionnaire round. On the Plenary Session, Rtn. Radeeka Gurung (President Elect of the club) welcomed all the guests & the participants where Rtn. Dilip Subedi (Past President of the club) shared information of the club & also kept Vote of Thanks. President Rtn. Raju Maharjan kept is words about how proud its is to be a part of Rotary Family & invited all with the open heart to be a part of it. Rtn.
