On 31st Jan 2020, Rotary Club of kakarvitta along with Rotaract Club of Kakarvitta organized an Interaction Meeting with Deputy Superintendent of Police of Area Police Office of Kakarvitta Mr. Rajendra Pokhrel as the Guest Speaker of the month. On the Interaction, we interacted about the relationship between Police & Public and the roles that a social organization can play to reduce & aware about the crime. We also presented a framed “4 Way of Test” Banner to the Guest Speaker as Token of Love where Club Administration Rtn. Sujan Pradhan enlightened about the importance of 4 Way Test. On 27th Sep 2019, Rotary Club of Kakarvitta, Mechi Chamber of Commerce, Nepal Association of Tours & Travels Agent (Province-1) with the support of Rotaract Club of Kakarvitta organized Mini Marathon (6 Km) on the occasion of 40th World Tourism Day 2019, promoting “Visit Nepal 2020” where 100 participants from all over the Nepal Participated. Marathon was inaugurated by Mayor Rtn. Bimal Acharya & Deputy Mayor Mrs. Mina Pokhrel Uprety of Mechinagar Municipality from the Dhulabari & ended at Hanuman Mandir, Kakarvitta. On the Prize Distribution Ceremony, Winners were awarded in the presence of Honorable Minister of Forest, Tourism & Environment of Province-1 Mr. Jagdish Prasad Kushiyat, Member of Parliament of Province-1 Mr. Shree Prasad Mainali & Mr. Gopal Chandra Budhathoki, Mayor & Deputy Mayor. On 4th Sep 2019, Rotary & Rotaract Club of Kakarvitta organized Free Health & Eye Screening Camp in Gawala Basti, Mechinagar-15 (also known as “Mechi Pari Gaon” ) in association with Mechi Netralaya & Manisha Polyclinic & Diagnostic Center. On the Camp more then 100 patients were treated for Orthopedic, Eye Screening & General Health Checkup.
