Child Specialist & Nutrition Awareness Health Camp

On the 20th December 2014, #Rotary Club of Kakarvitta organized a Child Specialist & Nutrition Awareness Health Camp targeting the child of Tea Labour at the Tokla Tea Estate, Jhapa with the technical support of Child & Nutrition Department of Mechi Zonal Hospital. With the Medical team of Four, lead by Dr. Yuba Nidhi Basaula (Consultant Pediatrician), health Camp was specially targeted to the child bellow 12 years old who are often suffering from the malnutrition. We also provided medicines to all & Nutrition Diet (Sarwatam Pitho) to the child bellow 1 years old. Two Child Specialist looked after the child current health situation where two from the Nutrition Department did counseling to both child & their parents respectively. More than 250 Child were benefited by the Health Camp. From a baby of just 6 days till 12 years old child, all were facilitated with the services & our members were pleased to serve them just to see the smile on the face of both child & Parents. Later at the end, Dr. Basaula & Mrs. Ganga Limbu (Nutrition Department head) expressed their felling with us that, there is still a lack of education regarding nutrition among the parents, they almost have all the ingredient to have a good Nutrition Diet but they miss to utilize their resources in a proper way. On the formal program, Tokla Tea Estate\’s Manager shared his gratitude towards club for organizing such camps, where Dr. Yuba Nidhi Basaula was pleased to be a part of this nobel cause. He promised to there always by side for the future too. Rotary Club of Kakarvitta\’s President Rtn. Dilip Subedi thanked both Medical Team & the administration of Tokla Tea Estate for all the support & also honored the guests & the Manager of the Tea Estate by the Token of Love. The formal program was conducted by the Secretary Rtn. Sujan Pradhan where he elaborated about the activities of Rotary International & Polio Plus.

Charity to Shree Hanuman Temple

On the 6th December 2014, #Rotary Club of Kakarvitta donated Rs. 6,17,111/- (In words, Six Lakhs Seventeen Thousand One Hundred & Eleven Rupees only) to Shree Hanuman Mandir Samiti. The donated amount was sponsored by the Family of Rtn. Bajrang Goyal (Chair of Membership), Mr.Kisanlal Goyal, Radheshyam Goyal, Kailash Goyal, Mahendra Goyal, Sharawan Goyal & Manoj Goyal. On the occasion of 19th Annual General Meeting of the Temple, Rotary Club took a step to support the Temple. On the program that was conducted under the president-ship of Shree Hanuman Temple\’s Vice President Mr. Mahendra Sangroula where program was honored by Rtn. Dilip Subedi, President of Rotary Club of Kakarvitta. Vice President of the Temple, Mr. Mahendra Sangroula briefed the history of the temple, how it was established by the simple effort of Late. Ohm Prakash Goyal & Late. Rishikesh Goyal. They both established the temple by the saving of their income & latter on it was able to do different social activities in the different sectors. It is the 2nd organization to run a ambulance in jhapa & has been giving usable goods (ie: Chairs, utensils, tents etc) on rent. Mr. Sangroula also promised to utilize every single penny on the welfare of common peoples & the society. Chief Guest Rtn. Dilip Subedi enlighten on the activities of Rotary International & how a common people can be benefited via Rotary Foundation.
