On 27th Sep 2019, Rotary Club of Kakarvitta, Mechi Chamber of Commerce, Nepal Association of Tours & Travels Agent (Province-1) with the support of Rotaract Club of Kakarvitta organized Mini Marathon (6 Km) on the occasion of 40th World Tourism Day 2019, promoting \”Visit Nepal 2020\” where 100 participants from all over the Nepal Participated.
Marathon was inaugurated by Mayor Rtn. Bimal Acharya & Deputy Mayor Mrs. Mina Pokhrel Uprety of Mechinagar Municipality from the Dhulabari & ended at Hanuman Mandir, Kakarvitta.
On the Prize Distribution Ceremony, Winners were awarded in the presence of Honorable Minister of Forest, Tourism & Environment of Province-1 Mr. Jagdish Prasad Kushiyat, Member of Parliament of Province-1 Mr. Shree Prasad Mainali & Mr. Gopal Chandra Budhathoki, Mayor & Deputy Mayor.
